Why Anchorstone exists

Housing is not a backdrop to care. It is the foundation it's built on.

Anchorstone Homes exists to strengthen the connection between good housing and good support. We are a specialist property partner, not a care provider. Our role is to help bridge people and property by working alongside the organisations that understand support pathways and local needs.

"The right home creates the conditions for stability, confidence and independence. When property and support work together, people have a stronger foundation to thrive."

Supported accommodation works best when the person and their support pathway come first, followed by the property. By involving providers early, location, household model, accessibility and specification can be explored together before a commitment is made.

I started Anchorstone about a year ago to become a trusted, long-term property partner to the people planning and delivering support. Our aim is to create calm, safe and well-designed homes, with natural light, privacy, durability and warmth considered alongside compliance and operational requirements. We want to grow only where evidence, quality and strong partnerships support that growth.

Where we are today

Who we work with

One purpose, built through partnership.

We work with the people who deliver support, plan local provision, own suitable property and provide responsible capital. Every conversation starts with people, support pathways and confirmed need.

Homes in practice

What a suitable home makes possible.

Thoughtful property design supports everyday independence, while a stable home creates space for relationships, routine and belonging.

Accessibility that feels like home

Clear circulation space, thoughtful kitchen access and a level route to the garden are integrated into a calm, personal living environment.

Belonging beyond the front door

A secure home gives people a place to welcome family, maintain relationships and enjoy the ordinary moments that make a life feel settled.

Building trust

The principles that shape every Anchorstone partnership.

Disciplined, transparent growth

Anchorstone is about a year into its journey. We are building deliberately, one property at a time, with considered structures and a long-term view. We share where we are clearly and allow trust to grow through consistent delivery.

Calm, dependable partnership

We listen first, communicate plainly and aim to be useful before being commercial. Questions and concerns are addressed early, with clear ownership and practical next steps.

Quality that supports everyday life

Compliance is our starting point. We also consider natural light, privacy, durability, warmth, accessibility and sensory comfort, creating homes that support both day-to-day living and the work of providers.
